Customer Review: PHENOMENAL PANS
I'm pretty new to cooking, but these pans exceed any and all expectations....especially compared to my old non-stick and Revere aluminum pans, all of which have now been donated to charity. I've been experimenting (OK, I watch Racael on the Food Network for ideas: ok, shoot me...I still have hormones!), and these pans (I also have an 8 inch (pan that is) and 10 inch), are the best. They heat uniformly, so cooking is a breeze...well, at least easier than I expected, given my limited talents. Hey, my dishes are somewhat (for me) complex, yet still taste great. Now if only I could stop cutting my finger to the bone with the new ultra sharp knives I've bought! As for cleanup, the pans are unbelievable....the wipe clean with a paper towel dealie really works, though I do wash them lightly afterwards. Guys (and you gals too), for the price you owe it to yourself to get at least one Calphalon non-stick pot/pan. With the new non-stick technology, cooking and ensuing clean up will never be the same again....and now it's all good!

Too bad I can't rate these pans higher...they deserve it. One of the best purchases I've ever made!
Customer Review: Calphalon Contemporary Nonstick 12-Inch Covered Omelet Pan
Since we own a few other Calphalon cookware products, and are
very satisfied with them, it was an easy choice to select
Calphalon to replace a frying pan. The new Calphalon pan not
only is easier to cook with, it's much nicer to look at. We no
longer put it away after use. Instead we're proud to have it
adorn the cook top.

The cable spool inside provides a convenient, tangle-free way to store your earphones. Sensitivity (at 1kHz) - 115dB SPL/mW Impedance (at 1kHz) - 26 Ohm Cable Length - 1.45m (56 inches) Input Connector - 3.5 mm (1/8 inch) gold-plated stereo plug Unit Weight - 28 gram (0.9 ounces)
Customer Review: Incredible
Having owned an Ipod for over a year but I've never been pleased with the fit and sound, mainly the fit. Reading Sports Illustrated Shane Battier was talking about essentials needed for constant travel in the NBA. This item was one of his.

What a great purchase! Sound is incredible. Now admittedly I'm not a stereo freak so people on a higher plane than me may search for something better. But the improved sound is incredible to me. Some songs I liked before have a whole new meaning as you hear background noise or lyrics much better.

There is one more benefit/distraction. They feel great in your ear after two days getting used to them. They do bother you a little till then. The new benefit is because they are snug, you can't hear the outside world hardly at all. That's a positive for hearing good music and drowning out the sound of an airplane engine. It's not a positive if you are sitting in the doctor's office and they continue to call you name and you can't hear them.

Overall, I am extremely happy and strongly recommend these plugs. One of my best purchases in the last few years.

Customer Review: Very nice sound
I have these and the E2's. These sound better but I am having a hard time keeping them in my ears while I exercise. The E2's fit better but the E3's sound more intense.

Customer Review: Avoid this product
The card reading ability of the device is worse than the rational customer might expect. The error rate I experienced was around 35%. I had scanned 30 cards, wasting time correcting data, and then the program crashed. In OSX. I hardly ever see a program crash. But here's the kicker: it didn't save the work at any point. In fact, there was no save funtion I could find easily, just export. I returned it right away, and ordered the CardScan Executive, which I run under Windows XP in Boot Camp. While it costs twice as much, its error rate is much more forgivable, at about 10%, with about 25% perfect scans/reads so far. Plus, the automatic saving and free online card data storage and synching are beyond my expectations. You get what you pay for.

Calphalon Commercial Nonstick 10-Inch International Griddle/Crepe Pan

Calphalon Commercial Nonstick 10-Inch International Griddle/Crepe Pan

The sides of this 10-inch nonstick griddle are low and slope gently, so your cr pes slide out without falling apart and your pancakes flip easily. No matter what you're cooking, you're guaranteed quick and even heat distribution, easy food release, and simple cleaning, thanks to the pan's three layers: an aluminum core, a hard-anodized exterior, and a reinforced nonstick surface. The aluminum core provides rapid heat conduction, while the hard-anodized exterior increases the griddle's durability. The nonstick surface allows you to cook low-fat meals without using any oil or butter. The griddle includes a collector's edition recipe card. As with all nonstick surfaces, you should not use metal utensils or abrasive cleaners with the griddle; doing so could void the lifetime warranty. --Laura Cuthbert

Customer Review: excellent product, performs as expected
I have had this pan for over a year. I purchased it to replace an electric crepe pan that was approximately 20 years old. This pan is much easier to use and to clean than the electric crepe pan.

I have made whole wheat crepes in this pan without a problem. I have also made whole egg and egg white crepes in this pan without any sticking problems. However, I do always spray this pan with oil before making crepes.

The non-stick on this pan is still sound after a lot of use. I do wash this pan by hand, and only use silicon or wood utensils to flip the crepes. If you are a little careful not to abuse the pan it seems to hold up fine, actually better than I expected for the price.

If you are looking for crepe recipes there is an old cookbook "Crepe Cookery" by Mabel Hoffman that is 176 pages of nothing but crepe recipes. If you can pick up a used copy of this old book (circa 1976), I have found it to be very useful.

I feel that this pan is worth more than its price tag suggests if you like crepes.

Designed to perform on all conventional ranges, as well as on induction cooktops, heat spreads quickly and evenly to produce superior results. Each piece features a long, stay cool handle with a thumb indent for comfort and ergonomics and a well-fitted stainless steel lid.
Customer Review: Amazing, but watch out, it's addicting!
In light of recurring news articles discussing the carcinogenic potential of Teflon, my husband and I decided to replace our current cookware. The set we had was in good shape minus a few scratches here and there. If you pay attention, however, these "minor scratches" honestly translate to a metallic aftertaste in the food, especially with boiled foods.
Anyway, after a long and hard discussion, we decided to purchase this set, specifically with the nonstick pan, since we'd be doing a lot of pan-frying. I have absolutely no complaints about this cookware. It is beautiful, sturdy, elegant, and is truly the way to go for healthy, gourmet cooking. It is expensive, but as other reviews have stated, it lasts the long haul.
The only thing is, now that we have the starter set, I've been eyeing other pieces to add to my collection. It's hard to resist. I am addicted to All-Clad!!!
Customer Review: All Clad cookware, best on the market
I have used All-Clad since the early 1980's and consider it the very best, and best for the money, too, as it lasts forever, the company will simply replace any that you complain about (the LTD black surface wore off some after 15 years, which is why I switched to the stainless steel outside and inside and some copper outside versions (Copper Chef, by All-Clad Co.) and they sent a new one!). I have boiled over milk on high and it never scorched! The bottom of the pan was not even tan, much less any burned milk! That was a first for any pan for me! The Olympic Cooking Team uses these pans, by the way. And they look good on a rack, too.

Sony (PSP) Playstation Portable System

Sony (PSP) Playstation Portable System

The Sony (PSP) Playstation Portable) packs a powerful multimedia punch within its slim build frame. With wireless internet, video and digital music playback, and incredible data storage and connectivity options, the Sony PSP is a complete solution for the mobile digital lifestyle. Imagine having all of your favorite movies, music and photos accessible in an instant; anywhere, anytime. Not to mention the numerous games available. Sony has combined both horsepower and groundbreaking features into a package that weighs just a little more than half a pound.
Customer Review: Worth the money.
If anyone is looking for a "Portable Entertainment System" than look no further than the PSP,It has many features, its main one being its games in which there is a growing number of,Its other features are music, movies,Net connection and updates. Here i will just explain them:

Games:As i said the PSP has a small variety at the moment, however Sony has anounced at E3 that they are planning about 26 new games, one of them is Metal Gear Solid:Portable Ops.
Any game you play will have the graphics of PS2(Bloody brill graphics considdering its a handheld) and great audio.
9/10.

Music:
It may not be the best quality of music but its OK considdering its only one of the features the PSP has.
7/10

Movies:
OK,you better not be buying a PSP whatever you do just for its UMD movies, they use up battery life not many of them and they are more expensive than a DVD player. But if get a PSP and want to watch an available movie,I would suggest renting it and also charching your PSP before watching it.But the PSP does display them OK,so i`ll give it that.
7/10

Net stuff:
Yes thats one of the best features PSP has,you can connect up to the internet not to mention play Online games against other PSP users. For a handheld, the Online stuff is great so its GREAT overall.
9/10.

Updates:
Well for the last year,we could say Sony have been neglecting its support to the PSP,But at E3 Sony did promise to give in more support.Things they update include the colour of the wall-paper,which is monthly and new versions of filmware to come out soon(Filmware is required for some of PSP`s newer games).
8.8/10.

I got my PSP for 170 Quid with one game(Need For Speed:Most Wanted). And i think it was worth it,although i may not have as much WiFi as most people seeing as only two of myy friends own PSP`s.

If you live the PSP to the fullest(like me) than you will see why the PSP is mostly worth the money you pay. Most people, the ones who only mess around with the features, neglect it or use it too much causing the battery to run out will say the PSP was a rip-off.You have gotto remember that PSP is MORE than just a handheld console, even if its main compartment is games.

But some of the improvements i would like to see are more games and better updates,But i think that is on the way as Sony said so at E3 this year.

So all is all,i reccomend this to both kids and adults, boys or girls as its simply great.

g,bye.

Customer Review: A thing of beauty is a joy forever
Somebody rightly said "A thing of beauty lasts forever". That holds good for this awesome little piece of technological marvel.

The moment you open the box, the widescreen (16:9 aspect ratio) stares at you. The PSP does not come with a game. I immediately rushed to a store to buy a game "Need for speed". The graphics are amazing and the game itself is thrilling. The widescreen adds beauty to the games as the racetracks look more original in widescreen.

I have downloaded my home videos shot using Sony HC-42 camcorder. The camcorder shoots in wideangle (16:9). Hence the videos look great on the Sony PSP.

[...]

The controls on the PSP are bit funny. For example, to accelerate your car you need to press the down arrow and to brake you need to press the up arrow. Isn't that unconventinal? But I got used to it very soon as my race car was not moving at all when all others sped by!!!

Sony is known for making proprietary items to mint money. They have created this UMD Disc whereas they could have easily supported mini-DVD instead. Don't spend your money on UMD disks. Instead buy a memory stick with good capacity and download games to the stick rather than using the UMD.

PSP is great for viewing photos. But please remember to resize your photos to less than 10% of their original size (if you use a 5 MP or higher camera). This will save valuable space on your memory stick and also display the photos faster on the PSP. If you don't resize them, it takes more than 10 seconds for the system to render the image on screen.

Connecting to internet is not fun. The text editor is very hard to use. Please don't have much expectations on this feature. This feature may be useful if you are playing games with another internet partner but not for anything else.

Please do buy a screen protector as you don't want to spoil this beatiful screen. Even a minor scratch may show up and spoil the fun.

The battery has excellent life (nearly 5 hours) before you need a recharge.

Go ahead and buy the PSP. You won't regret the purchase. I would surely recommend this product for you.

Customer Review: ATA-133 Tempo ATA/133 PCI card for Mac
I purchased the card originally to go in an older G3 B&W which would not run the larger hard drives. I had tried several other boards for the PC, but the Mac would not recognize any of them. This was pricy compared to the other PC only cards, but the advertisement said it would work in a Mac. When it arrived, I plugged it in and turned on the Mac. Nothing unusual happened, and I wondered if it was working. I checked under system profiler, and it saw the card! So I turned off the computer, got my 200 MB HD, plugged it in using Master/Slave settings (as a Master) settings, and turned it back on. The HD was seen on the first try. No set up or fiddling with FDISK or anything. It needed to be initialized, but Disk Utility came up and asked if I wanted it initialized, and I said YES, and it did its thing. I then partitioned it into 3 partitions, and put another boot sector on one of the partitions, and now I had an emergency boot disk! Nothing could be simplier!

The only problem I have now (five hard drives in the Mac G4) is that the slave drives cannot have boot partitions on them. That's not a limitation of the card, but of the ATA scheme.

My neighbor was given an older B/W mac and since this was an upgrade from her original iMac, I told her I would set it up for her free of charge. Boy, was that ever a mistake. I thought her Mac was identical to my old G3, but it turned out, hers was an original issue G3 B&W and with OS X it would not recognize any hard drive except the 12GB that came with it and it corrupted any drive which had OS X on it! There was no way around the problem, although I tried every trick in the book, including some no one else ever thought of. Finally, I ordered another ATA-133 card and stuck that one in there, and the problem was solved! No more corrupt drives, and she could use a larger HD. -- But I was out the money it costs for the card, as well as a new hard drive since I ruined her original 12 GB! So much for free work! But the Sonnet Tech ATA-133 Card saved the day for the computer! It worked without drivers or set up -- true Plug and Play (not Plug and pray like in the PC world!)

Yes, the cost is a little high (that's why the 4 stars instead of 5) but the ease of install and use is what Mac users are used to.

Calphalon Commercial Hard-Anodized 12-Inch Everyday Pan with Lid

Calphalon Commercial Hard-Anodized 12-Inch Everyday Pan with Lid

This 12-inch everyday pan will end up being the hardest working pan in your kitchen. It is ideal for everything from simmering stovetop succotash and braising brisket to browning Dutch pancakes or cooking fruit tarts. Part of Calphalon's Commercial Hard-Anodized line of cookware, this pan is made of heavy-gauge aluminum that's uniformly thick across the bottom and sides, allowing for quick and even heat distribution. Its durable hard-anodized finish is stick- and scratch-resistant and won’t react with acidic foods. The patented cast stainless-steel handles are comfortable to grip, plus they minimize heat transfer so handles stay cool on the stovetop. Handles are held in place by three sturdy stainless-steel rivets. The included hard-anodized lid is dome-shaped, making it ideal for moist-heat cooking. The cookware and lid are oven-safe up to 450 degrees F so you can transfer a frittata to the oven for browning without having to switch pans. All cookware in this line is covered by a lifetime warranty. --Cristina Vaamonde
Customer Review: Food sticks
I am disappointed in this pan as food gets stuck VERY easily to it and it's not easy to get out. I guess the only consolation is that I can use a steel brillo pad to get all the stuck food off and it doesn't seem to really affect the pan. The listing says it is "stick resistant" but food sticks more to this pan using more oil than using a regular stainless steel pan with less oil.
Customer Review: The best pan for browning meats, and great for a lot of other things too!
I don't usually write reviews, but I saw that there have been a number of negative reviews for this everyday pan, and I felt compelled to speak up.

I bought this pan almost 6 months ago and have been happily using it 3-4 times a week.

I am in no way affiliated to Calphalon, but I have to say that this is really an excellent pan, especially for searing meat - when you want to achieve that beautiful "golden brown and delicious" look.

I preheat the pan, then pour a bit of oil and let that heat up for a minute. Yes, the meat does stick in the beginning, but it really and truly does release when it's ready ... allow the meat to sit undisturbed at least 3 minutes on medium heat - don't turn it over or try to peek underneath to see what's going on!

Also, I have found that it is the perfect pan to use when you want to make a dish that involves a pan sauce. After you have browned the meat, if you pour a bit of broth, wine, or water, the pan deglazes beautifully and - along with your choice of flavourings like onions, shallots, garlic, etc. - produces a very flavourful sauce with all the brown bits that resulted from searing the meat.

My pan of choice used to be a stainless steel, but I have discovered that this hard-anodized everyday pan does a better job. I have used this new pan for beef, pork, chicken, and fish steaks (I would still use a nonstick frypan for fish fillets, which are really very delicate), and all turned out much better. Because the material (aluminum) conducts heat so efficiently, you get a beautiful brown in less time than you would with a stainless steel pan, and definitely much less time than with a nonstick. This means that you won't end up overcooking your meat - so your result will be something that looks AND tastes good.

I have also used this pan to make rice dishes (paella-style), with the same amazing results. The cover allows steam to go back into the pan, so you can use a bit less liquid and all the flavour of your dish stays in there.

That this pan is also oven-proof is a great feature. On top of that, I think it looks nice and it is very sturdy too.

Cleaning it is very easy. I use a Dobie pad with some liquid dish cleaner, and wash in warm water. When I make a dish that doesn't require a pan sauce, right after cooking I pour about a cup of hot water into the hot pan, just to deglaze it and get rid of anything that might end up sticking or drying up in the bottom. This way I don't need to waste time scrubbing the pan after dinner.

I haven't tried using this pan for eggs, so I can't say if eggs would stick to it. I have a couple of nonstick omelette pans, and I use those when I want to make crepes, frittatas, omelettes, fried eggs, etc.

All in all, I have been really happy with this pan. It was very well priced, but I wouldn't have regretted paying even double for it. And like I said in the beginning, I am absolutely in no way affiliated with Calphalon. To tell you the truth this was even my first Calphalon pan. Because of my great experience with this one, I have bought others from the same maker.

Very highly recommended.

Sony Playstation Portable (PSP) Value Pack

Sony Playstation Portable (PSP) Value Pack

The era of no-compromises handheld gaming has arrived. Get ready for immersive, 3D gaming on a console that is poised

to change the way we think about portable devices. With wireless internet, video and digital music playback, and incredible data storage and connectivity options, the Sony PSP--or PlayStation Portable--is a complete solution for the mobile digital lifestyle. Sony has hit the mark by combining both horsepower and groundbreaking features into a package that weighs just a hair more than half a pound.

Design
The PSP's exceptional performance comes from a 333 MHz processor that dwarfs the speed of competing handheld consoles. Add this polygon-pushing muscle to 4 MB of fast DRAM and 32 MB of embedded RAM, and you've got a device with graphics rendering capabilities close to that of the PlayStation2. And because no game is complete without audio, the PSP is generously appointed with built-in stereo speakers, as well Dolby Digital 7.1 surround sound capability. Sony has also pulled out all the stops with the PSP display. The bright, 4.3-inch LCD sports a 16:9 aspect ratio and 480 x 272 pixel resolution--plenty of real estate for heavy gaming action and widescreen-format movies. All of this is powered by a removable, and rechargeable, lithium-ion battery.

Screen machine: The 4.3-inch display sports a 16:9 aspect ratio and 480 x 272 pixel resolution. Movies and games on the go have never been more gorgeous.

From a controls perspective, the PSP is made for gaming. If you're familiar with a PlayStation controller, you'll be a pro at the PSP's controls in no time. Directional buttons, as well as an analog stick are provided. Meanwhile, the familiar left and right shoulder buttons, as well as triangle, circle, cross and square buttons are integrated into the device's slim case. Finally, home, select, and start buttons give you quick access and control over the PSP's important functions.

To have and to hold: The PSP's easy-to-master controls are cleverly integrated into the device's slim profile.

Supported Media
At the heart of the PSP is a new, proprietary media format known as the Universal Media Disc, or UMD. Each UMD can hold 1.8 GB of data, enough room for rich and complex games. UMDs, which are housed in a protective cover, slide into the rear of the PSP. Sony has declared the UMD an open format for developers and media content owners, so movies, music and other media are on the horizon from third parties. Sony has also signed on many popular game developers for the platform, so a deep library of titles is on tap.

While the UMD is great for read-only media such as games and movies, Sony solves the problem of data storage with the addition of a Memory Stick Duo slot. With Memory Stick Duo media, you can store your saved games, downloaded online content, personal video and audio files, and more. When you want access to these files from your PC, simply use the PSP's USB 2.0 port to turn the device into a fast portable media drive. Then, drag and drop files such as your photos, MP3s, and videos onto the PSP, just as you would any other removable storage device. The PSP ships with a 32 MB Memory Stick Duo, and additional media with higher storage capacities are available.

Major media: Sony's PSP-compatible Universal Media Disc (UMD) can hold 1.8 GB of data.

Connectivity
The PSP blows away the competition in the connectivity department. Indeed, the PSP's ability to connect to the internet, and to other PSPs and USB-based peripherals, is a real advantage. At the top of the list is Wifi connectivity, or IEEE 801.11b. Use this wireless internet standard to connect to other gamers around the world for hot multiplayer action--all from your couch, or your local Wifi hotspot. As mentioned, the PSP's USB 2.0 port is great for PC connectivity, but it also opens the PSP up for a whole range of future peripherals. Sony has plans for the PSP in other ways, too; the unit's infrared port speaks of remote control capabilities in the near future.

A Digital Companion
If you haven't already guessed, Sony has positioned the PSP to be much more than a gaming device. Out of the box, the device is ready to serve as a portable video player and photo viewer. By using the new H.264 MPEG-4 video standard, Sony obviously has its eyes on making the PSP a robust video device with support for feature length movies and more. In addition, the PSP offers a great way to transport and share your photos in JPEG format. And let's not forget the music. Load up your favorite MP3-encoded songs onto a Memory Stick Duo and you've got a portable audio powerhouse. The device also supports Sony's ATRAC audio codec, so you can play songs acquired from Sony's Connect Online Music Store. Sony even ships a nifty pair of earbuds--complete with an inline remote control-- with the PSP.

What's in the Box
PSP device, AC adapter, battery pack, 32 MB Memory Stick Duo, earbud headphones with remote control, soft case and hand strap.
Customer Review: Fun at first................
But after awhile it gets very boring.
You'll find yourself thinking couldn't I have bought this movie as a regular dvd instead of for the PSP. I mean you could either watch it on your 20'' screen or a 4'' screen on the PSP. Also couldn't you buy these games for your PS2....it would be a lot more fun.
Customer Review: Meh...not great
I really wanted to give this system a fair shot. I truely did; however, after trying to get into game after game, I just can't get addicted to any one. The psp been collecting dust. I'm not saying don't buy it, but I'm rather saying that you may want to see if the game selection is to your liking before putting down money for this(if you're going to buy it just for the multimedia features, give it more thought-in my opinion, they are overrated, unless you have a huge memory stick). Also, who's going to put down 20 bucks for a movie that doesn't have half as many features as normal DVD's? There's an adapter to connect the PSP to the TV, but that's another 70 dollars.

Family Guy, Vol. 1 - Seasons 1 & 2 (UMD for PSP)

Meet the Griffins: Peter, the big, lovable oaf who always says what?s on his mind. Lois, the doting mother who can?t figure out why her baby son keeps trying to kill her. Their daughter Meg, the teen drama queen who?s constantly embarrassed by her family. Chris, the beefy 13-year-old who wouldn?t hurt a fly, unless it landed on his hot dog. Stewie, the maniacal one-year-old bent on world domination. And Brian, the sarcastic dog with a wit as dry as the martinis he drinks. The animated adventures of his outrageous family will have your whole family laughing out loud.
Customer Review: Stick with the Simpsons!
For me the choice is easy. The Simpson's is an enduring classic I can
watch over and over and still get more of the jokes each time.
I can't stand any of the characters or any of the plots on Family Guy.
The Family Guy Commercials are on my "must mute" list along with
Mathew Lesco and the Bob Dick enlargement commercials.
Anybody with the misconception that the Simpson's has gone downhill
must have missed the Gay Marriage episode last week.
Customer Review: Family Guy
I didn't see this show when it first came on tv. But I saw it on adult swim and I was totally interested I got the dvd set.I like Peter,Chris and Stewie.

The Chronicles of Narnia - The Lion, Witch and the Wardrobe (UMD for PSP)

The Chronicles of Narnia - The Lion, Witch and the Wardrobe (UMD for PSP)

Customer Review: Disappointing movie
I haven't read the book, so I don't know how faithful it is to it. But I was very disappointed in the movie.

I had heard of it as a Christian allegory. It includes what is essentially a crucifixion and resurrection scene (the lion Aslan agrees to be killed to save the life of Edmund, a boy portrayed as a traitor), but this seems awkwardly placed in an otherwise secular action movie. It just doesn't fit. This was the major source of my disappointment in the movie. On the whole the movie did not seem to me to represent Christian values, and the crucifixion and resurrection bit semed quite discordant with the rest of the movie.

The acting was generally good, with the two young actresses playing the two girls offering particularly outstanding performances. But it was basically a fairly run-of-the-mill action movie with the discordant Christian reference just plopped into it.

Final Fantasy VII - Advent Children (UMD Mini for PSP)

Final Fantasy VII - Advent Children (UMD Mini for PSP)

FINAL FANTASY VII: Advent Children continues the game s storyline in this CG-animated film, featuring non-stop action and exciting visual effects. Two years have passed since the ruins of Midgar stand as a testament to the sacrifices made in order to bring peace. However, the world will soon face a new menace. A mysterious illness is spreading fast. Old enemies are astir. And Cloud (Burton), who walked away from the life of a hero to live in solitude, must step forward yet again...

Backed by a full team of video game extraordinaires, the film was directed by Tetsuya Nomura and Takeshi Nozue, written by Kazushige Nojima and produced by Shinji Hashimoto and Yoshinori Kitase.
Customer Review: A Final Fantasy Wetdream
Many could say that this movie is very subpar with all the anime's out there; even the ones that are purley CGI (Appleseed comes to mind). What makes this movie an exception is the fact that there was a plot when the game ended. What Happened to all the Sepiroth Clones that he didn't kill? Did Cloud ever forgive himself for letting Aerith die? and ofcoarse, did Holy kill mankind in saving the planet? the answers are here and the time for Cloud to rekindle a flame that is destined to burn brighter has been lit for a power that he wouldn't even tell Sepiroth where it came from in his last moments of the short life that Cloud has granted him. If ever there was an epilogue to a Final Fantasy that gave closure, this would be it. NO Fanfiction; NO Rumors, this isn't just a second story that happens in the FFVII universe; its the end of the original story and its about time.

Now onto what makes the other aspects of this movie so impecible. The CGI in this movie is second to none. To think that Square is capable of surpassing in animation what companies have spent decades trying to acheive. Voice acting is topshelf too from the unexpected Scotish accent of Cait Sith to the deep emptiness that embodies Sephiroths cruelty, every character truly lives up to what a true fan of the game would excpect. Music is even better that what a privileged few have heard from the 02022002 Final Fantasy concert CD.

While the only letdown is that the other members of the team weren't featured more, I can understand that they do have lives to lead and get on with since there is a planet to rebuild and some simply have their own personal demons to deal with.

Personally I couldn't think of a better end of the series with cameos from two very special people to Cloud reassuring him that his life is his and he isn't to forget that.

While I probably can't convince some of you to look past the fact that this movie only truly works if you undertook the quest of playing the game. I know that the two combined can and in my mind that they do rival and some, surpass the best anime's out there (what would you expect from the best RPG ever made?)
Customer Review: The Incredible Shrinking Masterpeice........
What can you say for Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children? How about this: it's a flawless masterpiece. Taking place just two years after the beloved Final Fantasy VII video game, A.C. continues the story of the game in perfect fashion, keeping true to the roots, as well as keeping the story of FFVII just as compelling as it was in the game. I don't want to say much more about the story(so as not to spoil it for those who haven't seen it yet), but I will say that the story you mainly follow this time is once again that of Cloud, his buddies Tifa, Vincent, Barret, etc., and Cloud's inevitable transformation back into a hero, after attemping to live a life of solitude. The story is made even better by the excellent voice acting done by both the english and japanese actors. In a lot of movies of this caliber, you don't always have that, but the way they perform the dialogue just keeps you hooked on their every word all the way through the movie. The music in the movie is done perfectly, syncing up with the action at all the right times, keeping you excited and waiting anxiously for the next action sequence. As for the cgi animation in the movie, it's almost too good to describe, but let me try my best here. Firstly, let me give as much credit as possible to the cgi team. It's clear they put a lot of their time over the past few years working on making everything from the characters, to the scenes, to the areas and environments look absolutely, uncompromisingly perfect. They've succeeded in masterfully making something so visually stunning, you'll want to see it again and again. And having it portable just makes this slice of Heaven even sweeter. The porting of the movie to the PSP is done extremely well, making it just like watching the dvd. All the action, music, voice acting, and visuals are just as equally pleasing on UMD as on dvd. So, overall, I highly recommend that if you have a PSP, and you're looking for a masterpiece of a movie that you can watch anywhere, reward yourself by buying this movie for it. You'll never regret it. Really. I hope this has helped anybody wondering whether or not to buy this, and I hope you like it. Enjoy!!!
