The Matrix (UMD Mini For PSP)

The Matrix (UMD Mini For PSP)

Set in the 22nd century, The Matrix tells of a computer hacker (Reeves) who joins a group of underground insurgents fighting the vast and powerful computers who now rule the earth. The computers are powered by human beings...
Customer Review: At first it looks like a western hidden tiger
To Neo (Keanu Reeves) it seemed as if his entire life was a dream. As with most of us he was searching for something. He was also looking for a person named Morpheus (Laurence Fishburne) who would be able to answer the burning question "What is the Matrix?" It just may be possible that for other reasons Morpheus may be looking for Neo.

They get points for it the first people to do the particular FX.

This film even though it has a beginning and an end is really the first is a series that unfolds a further truth.

Keanu Reeves plays his part well; however, he is better as Siddhartha in "Little Buddha" (1994). Their little trick with pills reflecting off the classes was good. Speaking of Buddha one does not realize until going through the rest of the films in this series that there is a subtle Buddhist philosophical thread running through them.

Sonnet Technologies ATA-133 Tempo ATA/133 PCI Card for Macintosh

Sonnet Technologies ATA-133 Tempo ATA/133 PCI Card for Macintosh

Sonnet Tempo ATA-133 PCI Adapter - So, you've been using your Macintosh for video editing & capture, but you're finding your current hard drive space lacking? Just add another drive. What, no more IDE ports? Well that's easily solved with Sonnet's Tempo ATA133 Adapter. This card easily pops into a free PCI slot, giving you the ability to connect up to 4 more IDE hard drives! What's more, is this card supports the fast transfer rates of ATA133. But don't worry, it's backwards compatible with slower speeds. Achieve a maximum data transfer rate of 133MB per second Boots from any attached hard drive One cable is included (good for 2 drives) Supports Mac OS 8.0 through Mac OS X
Customer Review: ATA-133 Tempo ATA/133 PCI card for Mac
I purchased the card originally to go in an older G3 B&W which would not run the larger hard drives. I had tried several other boards for the PC, but the Mac would not recognize any of them. This was pricy compared to the other PC only cards, but the advertisement said it would work in a Mac. When it arrived, I plugged it in and turned on the Mac. Nothing unusual happened, and I wondered if it was working. I checked under system profiler, and it saw the card! So I turned off the computer, got my 200 MB HD, plugged it in using Master/Slave settings (as a Master) settings, and turned it back on. The HD was seen on the first try. No set up or fiddling with FDISK or anything. It needed to be initialized, but Disk Utility came up and asked if I wanted it initialized, and I said YES, and it did its thing. I then partitioned it into 3 partitions, and put another boot sector on one of the partitions, and now I had an emergency boot disk! Nothing could be simplier!

The only problem I have now (five hard drives in the Mac G4) is that the slave drives cannot have boot partitions on them. That's not a limitation of the card, but of the ATA scheme.

My neighbor was given an older B/W mac and since this was an upgrade from her original iMac, I told her I would set it up for her free of charge. Boy, was that ever a mistake. I thought her Mac was identical to my old G3, but it turned out, hers was an original issue G3 B&W and with OS X it would not recognize any hard drive except the 12GB that came with it and it corrupted any drive which had OS X on it! There was no way around the problem, although I tried every trick in the book, including some no one else ever thought of. Finally, I ordered another ATA-133 card and stuck that one in there, and the problem was solved! No more corrupt drives, and she could use a larger HD. -- But I was out the money it costs for the card, as well as a new hard drive since I ruined her original 12 GB! So much for free work! But the Sonnet Tech ATA-133 Card saved the day for the computer! It worked without drivers or set up -- true Plug and Play (not Plug and pray like in the PC world!)

Yes, the cost is a little high (that's why the 4 stars instead of 5) but the ease of install and use is what Mac users are used to.

Customer Review: A Must Have Pan
This is one of the best investments I have made for the kitchen. With this pan, you can make seared scallops so tender and succelent, it will make you feel like a professional chef. I also grill vegetables of all kinds on this pan with a little bit of olive oil for a delicious and low-fat side or main dish. You will not be disappointed!
Customer Review: I never thought I'd say this about a pan...
...but I really love it. It's opened a whole new world in my kitchen. I'm not really sure on how to elaborate on a pan but if you like to eat good food with easy clean up then you really ought to buy this. And I saw this same pan at Linen and Things at a much greater price. A good deal here.

Pirates of the Caribbean - The Curse of the Black Pearl (UMD Mini For PSP)

Pirates of the Caribbean - The Curse of the Black Pearl (UMD Mini For PSP)

You won't need a bottle of rum to enjoy Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, especially if you've experienced the Disneyland theme-park ride that inspired it. There's a galleon's worth of fun in watching Johnny Depp's androgynous performance as Captain Jack Sparrow, a roguish pirate who could pass for the illegitimate spawn of rockers Keith Richards and Chrissie Hynde. Depp gets all the good lines and steals the show, recruiting Orlando Bloom (a blacksmith and expert swordsman) and Keira Knightley (a lovely governor's daughter) on an adventurous quest to recapture the notorious Black Pearl, a ghost ship commandeered by Jack's nemesis Capt. Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush), a mutineer desperate to reverse the curse that left him and his (literally) skeleton crew in a state of eternal, undead damnation. Director Gore Verbinski (The Ring) repeats the redundant mayhem that marred his debut film Mouse Hunt, but with the writers of Shrek he's made Pirates into a special-effects thrill-ride that plays like a Halloween party on the open seas. Aye, matey, we've come a long way since Jason and the Argonauts! --Jeff Shannon
Customer Review: The funniest thing ever to come out of a theme park
Yo ho, yo ho! A pirate's life for me!

With the sequel set to come out in July, I thought it was time I reviewed the phenomenal movie that is Pirates of the Caribbean. The basic plot is this: A shipful of cursed pirates possess a treasure that causes them to turn into skeletons whenever there's a full moon--which is, through an unfortunate mistake, every single night. They must return the treasure to break the curse. Meanwhile, Captain Sparrow holds a grudge on the Captain, Barbossa, and intends to get around the slight difficulty of the fact that he is unkillable. Orlando Bloom as Will Turner lusts after Kiera Knightly as Elizabeth Swann, despite the fact that she is enaged to Commordore Norrington, played by Jack Davenport who gives a great performance.

This movie stars two of today's biggest stars: Johnny Depp, in the performance of a lifetime, and Orlando Bloom, in a performance that is pretty much an afterthought. I originally watched this for Bloom, but the character I fell in love with was Johnny Depp's Jack Sparrow. He based the character on Keith Richards, and it shows.

You should refresh your memory with a quick viewing of this if you don't want to miss Pirates of the Caribbean 2: Dead Man's Chest, which is coming out soon and promises to be one of the best summer movies. However, you'll soon find yourself watching it again...and again...and again...

The special features are nice, but the commentaries aren't that great. There are frequent long silences. The most interesting feature is the interactive exploration of a pirate ship. There are also some neat featurettes about the making of the movie, but none of the features are especially standout good. The main event is definitely the movie itself.

Drink up, me hearties yo ho!
Customer Review: How can you not love it?
I saw this movie for the first time about a week ago. It was late at night, but I was surrounded by my friends and we laughed along with every joke that Jack Sparrow told. The creepiness makes it even better, and the animated skeletons rock! Of course, Jack and Will aren't too bad looking either....

Calphalon Triply Stainless Steel 10-Inch Omelette Pan

Calphalon Triply Stainless Steel 10-Inch Omelette Pan

Exquisite homemade omelettes at your service. This omelette pan combines the beauty of mirror-polished 18/10 stainless steel with the superior performance of highly conductive, heavy-gauge aluminum. The core spreads heat evenly and responds to temperature changes quickly. Cool V handle design ensures handles stay cool on the stovetop. Flared rims protect edges and make pouring easier, neater and safer. Satin finish interior. Oven and broiler safe. Dishwasher safe. Lifetime warranty. Model L1390P.
Customer Review: Another great addition!
Picked up this to complement my ever-growing collection of Calphalon tri ply pans. And, like every other pan in this series, I have been very pleased!

Remember, use Barkeeper's Friend to keep the luster!

Happy cooking!
Customer Review: Another great addition!
Picked up this to complement my ever-growing collection of Calphalon tri ply pans. And, like every other pan in this series, I have been very pleased! Sautees, cooks, fries great. The 8" omelette pan is ok for one person, the 10" pan is great for a family. In my opinion, the 12" fry pan is much too large, so this 10" is just right. Additionally, the 3 quart saute pan lid will fit this pan (check my other reviews of the tri-ply series).

To the person who complained that "used it only once and its interior surface has discolored already." I cook regularly on a gas range, and it takes me several weeks before it starts to get discolored. That statement is like the iPod lawsuit of the guy suing Apple for hearing loss- of course your pans will get dirty with usage, it's not magic. Just remember, use Barkeeper's Friend and a Dobie pad (sponge encased in nylon net) to keep the luster!

Lastly, to the person that complained that these are not of the same quality as All-Clad, I don't see what the difference is. Compared with the All-Clad Stainless line, both use the same tri-ply on sides and bottom with aluminum core. The difference is that AC uses a metal that works better on convection ovens (magnetic), albeit is of worse quality than non-magnetic metals.
If you want to pay for overpriced All-Clad, go right ahead- the only one losing is you and your wallet.

Happy cooking!

Batman Begins (UMD Mini For PSP)

Batman Begins (UMD Mini For PSP)

Batman Begins explores the origins of the Batman legend and the Dark Knight's emergence as a force for good in Gotham. In the wake of his parents' murder, disillusioned industrial heir Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale) travels the world seeking the means to fight injustice and turn fear against those who prey on the fearful. He returns to Gotham and unveils his alter-ego: Batman, a masked crusader who uses his strength, intellect and an array of high tech deceptions to fight the sinister forces that threaten the city.
Customer Review: A comic book movie where the drama is better than the action
The ultimate argument of "Batman Begins" is that Batman is really more like Superman than we have suspected. The two DC comic book superheroes have always been like night and day, with Batman prowling Gotham City at night relying on only his finely honed human abilities while Superman uses his superpowers for truth, justice, and the American way. But one of the things that made Superman unique was that he really is Superman, the strange visitor from another planet: he pretends to be Clark Kent. "Batman Begins" argues that the same thing applies to Batman. His name might be Bruce Wayne, but the billionaire the world sees is just a construct. Batman is his true face.

Batman is a psychotic and in this 2005 film we find out why. Before his parents were murdered young Master Wayne had a fateful encounter with a whole bunch of bats, and the two events actually end up being related, which makes the death of his parents even more tragic. Despite the protestations of the loyal Alfred, Bruce Wayne knows it is his fault. But while becoming a crime fighter is inevitable there is still a choice as to how that war will be waged, which means traveling halfway around the world to be mentored and trained.. Then he must return to Gotham City and transform himself into a creature of the night whose very appearance will terrorize the criminals and supply himself with the gadgets that will give him a fighting chance on the streets. However, Gotham is being threatened by more than its ruling crime lord and the stakes are higher than our hero knows.

The problem is that I hate the frantic pace of film editing in action films like "Batman Begins." I am not overly enamored of hand held camera work either, but it is constant cutting in contemporary montage that is driving me crazy. When I go to a theater to see a movie I would like to actually see what is going on and not have to wait until the DVD comes out to slow things down to really see what is going on. This approach to editing did not start with "Batman Begins," but since I was looking forward to this cinematic retelling of the origin of the Dark Knight it was particularly bothersome. Every time Batman starts fighting the images are on the screen long enough that I can tell it is a new shot but then we are on to the next one while I try to make sense of the jumbled images of these fight scenes.

Maybe the key reason why "Spider-Man 2" remains the best comic book movie to date is because since the tentacles of Doctor Octopus had to be computer generated Spider-Man was be as well in their big fight scenes. There is not a sequences as good in "Batman Returns" as the one where Spidey and Doc Ock battle on the side of the building in "Spider-Man 2," mainly because there is not a single shot in the action sequences of this new film even half as long as that one. Meanwhile there are lots of martial arts films in which we managed to see what is happening during their big fight sequences, so how come we cannot do the same thing in this Batman movie? When Batman fights I want to see what he is doing flip through shots like I was flipping through the pages of an issue of a "Batman" comic book. It is maddening.

The big irony is that usually movies about comic book superheroes sacrifice story to action, but that is not the case with this screenplay, co-written by director Christopher Nolan and writer David S. Goyer (based on characters created by Bob Kane, but with obvious nods to Frank Miller's work, especially "Batman: Year One"). Originally the story was quite simple: young Bruce Wayne sees his parents gunned down by a robber. He builds up his body, studies science and decides to become a masked vigilante, taking as his inspiration a bat that flies against a window of Wayne Manor. Noland and Goyer provide more depth to the origin, which adds to the depth of the character as well, which is why I rounded up on this one in the end. The only real flaw in their script is an over reliance on the screenwriting trick of doubling up on dialogue (if a line is good once maybe it will be even better a second time). That is why when people talk about their favorite bits in this film they will probably be talking about one-liners (virtually every scene has one) and not any particular action sequence or specific gag.

Few will be surprised that Christian Bale has no problems playing the Dark Knight, and a supporting cast that offers by Michael Caine, Liam Neeson, Gary Oldman, Tom Wilkinson, Rutger Hauer and Morgan Freeman is pretty impressive for a comic book movie. It is too bad that Katie Holmes is not only 16 years younger than the youngest in that bunch because she seems like a kid and not an Assistant D.A. with a death wish, and there is no reason for her to be around for the next one given her benedictory speech. Besides, if Batman works even more closely with Lieutenant Gordon to catch the Joker in the next movie, that would be fine with me. The bottom line here is that while I have no problem with the idea this is the best Batman movie to date, the action sequences were not as good as the other parts of the movie and they should have been in order to move "Batman Begins" from being very good to being truly great.
Customer Review: Shortened, But Still Awe Inspiring
Great Movie, but the beginning seemed a little shortened (im not really sure) and made the film seem like it was going too fast. But it is still a must-buy.

All-Clad Stainless 10-Inch Nonstick Fry Pan

All-Clad Stainless 10-Inch Nonstick Fry Pan

Never again will your omelettes stick to the bottom of your pan - not if your pan is this one by All-Clad. With its nonstick interior, this 10-in. pan is just the size for an omelette or frittata. You'll also find it indispensable for sauteing vegetables. About All-Clad...All-Clad cookware is crafted from three permanently bonded layers of metal -- a layer of pure aluminum rests between an 18/10 stainless steel cooking surface and an exterior aluminum layer of magnetic stainless steel, brushed aluminum or hard anodized aluminum. The pan is designed such that the heat spreads quickly and evenly to produce superior results. Handwashing recommended for nonstick interiors.
Customer Review: I don't understand this product
You have the bottom of the pan clad in stainless steel...the advantage of that? You can dishwasher stainless. But you can't dishwasher nonstick! You just have the disadvantage of slower heating than you would with straight aluminum underneath.

And then you put teflon on something that costs over $100...the pan will last 50 or more years, the nonstick about five if you use it lightly and don't let some idiot put metal on it ever.

There's no indication that they will resurface your pan either...the warranty just covers defects, not use.

I think this is very wasteful economically, if not environmentally (because it is a massive yet not durable product, even if you recycle it). You can get a cheaper nonstick that will serve you for the five years just fine (e.g. Calphalon commercial), and better you can get this pan without the teflon and learn how to season your own cookware and make it even more nonstick than this can ever be and yet utterly indestructible, even with metal utensils.

People will only buy this for the looks. After all, they don't know how to cook anyway.
Customer Review: Great Release
This is my official egg pan -- even if I'm only cooking one. The nonstick finish is great. I haven't had any problems with it. I like the fact that I can get the All-Clad even heat technology with a non-stick surface. Because of the non-stick surface, the pan is not dishwasher safe. However, it's so easy to clean that you don't even think about it.

I use this pan so often that I don't bother to put it away. Its home is on my stove.

Update 4/8/06: Nonstick requires more care than I'm used to. I admit that I am guilty of letting the pan get too hot while it's empty and I believe I have damaged the nonstick coating. (This can happen with any brand of nonstick pan.) I recently read that to avoid damaging the coating, you should always heat the pan with oil. The oil will smoke before the pan gets too hot to do any damage. I purchased this pan in December of 2004 and it has lasted longer than previous nonstick skillets, but I will have to replace it soon. I am also thinking about getting an 8" nonstick as well because perhaps I'm not doing the larger pan any favors when I fry something in it that doesn't take up that much space, like a single egg.

Belkin F5U003 MAC USB Serial Adapter for Macintosh

Belkin F5U003 MAC USB Serial Adapter for Macintosh

The Belkin USB Serial Adapter for Macintosh is the easiest way to connect additional serial devices to your Mac or iMac computer. Connect digital cameras, modems, printers, graphic tablets, hand-held computers, point-of-sale devices, industrial controls and other devices. The USB Serial Adapter for Macintosh is automatically detected and configured - enabling easy installation. Connecting your Mac /iMac computer to multiple serial devices is now simple and easy.
Customer Review: Functional, but super ugly
When I got this adapter, it was the only serial to USB adapter available for the Mac and I was grateful that at least one company was making them.

I got this adapter for the sole purpose of connecting a serial digital camera to my G3. It did its job well. The flashing LEDs tell you whether the item is connected properly and when there is activity (such as downloading or deleting photos from the camera).

My less than perfect rating is for appearance. It should be illegal to make anything for the Mac platform that is brown and ugly like this unit is... it's certainly unethical to charge nearly $... for something that looks like a stepped-on package of cigarettes. Granted, I'd rather have something that's ugly and works well than something that's pretty and doesn't work at all... goodness knows I've bought some cool looking toys that turned out to be doorstops and boat anchors. Still, this is way over-priced for today's competitive market considering the awful design. If they dropped the price in half, it would be easier to stomach the little brown rectangle. Otherwise, it functions well.

All-Clad Stainless 12-Inch Nonstick Fry Pan

All-Clad Stainless 12-Inch Nonstick Fry Pan

Great kitchens start with top-quality All-Clad cookware. The nonstick fry pan is perfect for omelettes, frittatas, and sauteing fish and vegetables. The stainless steel collection is constructed of a durable, hand-polished 18/10 stainless steel surface and a pure aluminum core. Features extra-long, stay-cool handless. All-Clad cookware carries a limited lifetime warranty.
Customer Review: A Total Piece of CRAP
Given as a gift - same story: The fact that I primarily used high heat, it didn't last past 6 months. All-Clad said too bad after I emailed them, and called them several times leaving messages - took them 3 months to get back to me, and then that was it. I WILL NEVER BUY ALL-CLAD EVER AGAIN!!!
Customer Review: Great All-Around Frying Pan
After it's first month of use, this frying pan is still looking and working beautifully. It's been hand washed after each use, and only non-metallic cookware has been used with it, so hopefully it will continue to hold up. The size and weight of this pan are perfect, and the only thing that could use improvement might be the handle. Due to the heft of this pan, such a narrow handle isn't completely comfortable when flipping omelettes... but it's still the classic All Clad handle, so it looks fabulous hanging from a rack and is easy to grab even across the largest stove top. Of all the nonstick pans I've owned over the years, this All Clad pan is my favorite nonstick pan ever!

6 in 1 Pack UMD Cases for Sony Playstation Portable PSP

6 in 1 Pack UMD Cases for Sony Playstation Portable PSP

JAVOedge UMD cases come in a pack of 6 cases (2 Frosty White, 2 Frosty Blue, 2 Frosty Purple). Protect your UMD games and UMD movies when traveling or at home. Slim compact UMD case design with 3 stylish transparent color cases allow quick viewable access to all your UMD games and UMD movies. High-quality durable UMD case aims to shield against dusts and scratches. A great traveling UMD carrying solution versus the bulky retail UMD cases. Will fit in most carrying cases.
Customer Review: Great UMD Protection
These UMD cases are great. They are the perfect size and hold the UMD's tight. I also like the fact that they are transperent. They have a tricky clip that holds the case closed. After you figure out how to open it the first time you should be ok. I hope that this secure system to hold them closed does not ware off in time.
Customer Review: Great, practical, cheap and durable cases. My choice over an Altoids case.
These cases are great! They are nice and slim, taking no extra space which means you could have a pile of these in your pocket, bag etc and not have them take up space.

The colors are very nice, blue being my favorite and they seem durable. I've had them for only a day but if they don't last I would simply get a new pack because they are very cheap. Also, I picked this instead of an Altoids case because it stores the games individually and is slimmer than an altoids case. It is great for when I am only taking a game or two or all 6 of my games. I think they are slimmer than carrying 6 games in 2 Altoids cases.

If you have many UMDs, and take them all often then you might want to go with another option as these are for carrying a few games at a time. If I had over 20 games/movies I'd get a case or something bigger but for now these are the perfect choice for me.

Lastly, The only flaw in these cases is opening them. It is hard to open, which is good, the games won't pop out like potato chips out of a bag but they make switching games not as quick to do. I found that opening them from the top middle they open far easier and quicker. That is about it and once you get the hang of opening them these cases will simply make your day.

All-Clad Stainless 14-Inch Fry Pan

Frying, browning, sauteing? If you tend to use your fry pan a lot, as most people do, doesn't it make sense to purchase one that will give you years of excellent service? All-Clad's three-ply stainless steel construction assures even heat distribution to prevent hot spots. Use this extra large fry pan for hungry crowds.
Customer Review: Up to its usual excellence.
Superior feel. Cooking results were as advertised. I am very satisfied and will continue to seek out all-clad products.
Customer Review: Great pan!
Yes, it's a REALLY big pan! A perfect cookware addition for the serious cook. Surprisingly, the pan isn't as heavy as I expected and is a manageable size. It will easily saute 6 to 8 chicken breasts at once without crowding and is perfect for large batches. It heats evenly and lives up to the All-Clad quality I expected. Easy cleanup, too! Highly recommended.

SEAGATE 200GB External Hard Drive ST3200823RK PC and Macintosh

Customer Review: Works out of the box
I purchased this device a few months ago and it is still functioning. Plug it into a Windows XP machine and it just works. I tried firewire, USB 1.0 and USB 2.0. Plug it into Linux (I've tried Knoppix and Fedora Core 3) and it will just work.

My only compliant is that it isn't a quiet drive. But if you can deal with a little bit of churning for the formated 186 GB of storage, it is a good deal.

Please note that I am unable to recommend the included software, as I have no need to install it.

All-Clad Stainless 4-Quart Saut Pan

All-Clad Stainless 4-Quart Saut Pan

You can use this versatile 4-qt. Saute Pan by All-Clad Stainless on the rangetop and finish cooking in the oven. Its ample sides and tight-fitting lid accommodate a variety of recipes and seal in moisture. It also makes a beautiful serving dish. Use it to sear, saute, brown and braise meats or vegetables and to cook one dish meals. A wide, double-riveted handle adds convenience for lifting from stovetop to table or counter.Originally designed for professional chefs, this All-Clad pan has a hand-polished 18/10 stainless steel cooking surface that won't react with food. Heavy aluminum core covers the bottom and sides, so food cooks evenly and thoroughly. Handles are fastened with non-corrosive rivets. Not to be used on induction stoves. All-Clad is the undisputed choice among 4-star chefs and is available in five distinct designs. Lifetime warranty.
Customer Review: Love this Pan!!
My pasta sauce and a lot of frying start here. This pan is very deep. It fits two hallibut steaks perfectly with room for building a sauce. I think my sides are 3 1/4" high. It came with tongs and a splatter screen which come in handy.

It is an impressive pan -- beautiful and heavy. It heats evenly and quickly. I love All Clad quality. Diswasher safe. To keep it sparkling, use Bar Keeper's Friend.
Customer Review: A Kitchen Essential
I purchased the 4-quart saute pan a few months ago, and I have used it at least 3 times a week since then. I agree with the other reviewers that the taller sides are a big advantage over the 3-quart pan. This allows you to toss your cooked pasta into the sauce, poach meats and do various other tasks without worrying about the liquid spilling over, which is what concerned me about the 3-quart pan. I found that the 6-quart pan was far too large for my burners. I have cooked pasta sauces, chicken breasts, chicken thighs, meatballs, poached chicken, you name it, in this pan. It is extremely versatile and worth the price and the amount of space it takes up in the cabinet. If you have limited kitchen cabinet space, as I do, I think that this saute pan, a large non-stick skillet (All-Clad has a great one in its stainless collection), the 3- or 4-quart sauce pan and a large Le Creuset french oven is all you need for most stovetop cooking jobs.

K2c

K2c

Customer Review: Sophisticated Pop for everyone.
It was one of their characteristics that they did lots of different kind of music since there were approx 15 of them with different tastes of music. Music was just a tool for them in order to complete their "performance"(not just a concert). There were a lot of entertainment in their live concert; stand-up like talk, comedy sketches, songs by different senction of the band (like Big Horns Bee & Sue Cream Sue), play-like appearance of "the one and only" James Onoda, and a lot of interaction with their audience. After releasing their previous CDs with variation of 80s pop, rock and funk, they have reached much more sophisticated pop based on their variations in K2C.

K2C is the first and the only CD which doesn't have songs sang by James Onoda. The other vocalist, Carl Smoky Ishii, takes over K2C to explore their new pop world with his sweet voice. There are also featured artist, like Genta Oogimi (per), Mari Kaneko (chorus), and Amazons (chorus), who added depth into the music.

With this CD, they proved that they can do good music seriously, but still be the original performing group band.

There were bounus 4-inch CDs came with the first editions which features three theme songs form three-menu tour, "Sharisharism 7" tour; Kick Knock, 2 Much 2 Ist, and Co-Conga (these are not released in any other CDs).

The title K2C is also shortening for Kome Kome Club (K x2 Club).
Customer Review: Bad remakes of really good songs.
All of the songs on this album are very good. But they are all remakes (by the original artist, slower tempo). To me this is a very bad thing. They are lounge versions of good songs, which is worse, in my opinion, than a bad song. Re-release 5 1/2, EBIS, Pushed Rice, and Komeguny!

Customer Review: Strategic combat at its best
While I am personally more fond of Rome's predecessor, Medieval: Total War, the latest in the Total War series is nothing short of excellent. Much has been improved on, especially the real-time combat and gameplay mechanics. The meek AI, underdeveloped naval combat, and drab visuals that marred Medieval have been done away with for the latest installation.

One of the greatest strengths of the series has always been its ability to capture the truly epic feel of worldwide warfare, regardless of whether you are looking over the whole of Europe or watching rank-and-file armies advancing upon each other. This is especially true with the new 3D combat engine, which is vastly superior to Medieval's. The units are all fully modeled and animated, and the camera is much more maneuverable, allowing you to get up close. This isn't very handy from a command standpoint, but it really makes the battles come alive. Battles in cities and forts are also much more fun, since they are more balanced and take place in full-sized replicas of the cities you see on the world map, down to the individual buildings you or your opponent have constructed.

The mechanics of the strategy portion of the game are different. Instead of treating each provence as a whole entity, with units being able to move between them once per turn, units move relative to the physical distance they must cross on the map, with cities being the points of interest you must find. While this adds more strategy and realism to the game (since it will obviously take longer for an army to cross an African desert than the Italian peninsula), this makes the game move much more slowly and, I feel, detracts from the excitement and fun. Fortunately, the game compensates for this and does not require conquering the entire map to win; under the new rules of the game it would take a very, very long time.

The expasion, while not lacking in content, is slightly on the boring side. I believe my opinion may be slightly tainted since I am not as fond of the play styles inherent in choosing tribal factions which compose virtually all the playable ones in Barbarian Invasion. Still, after playing several full games of Rome, I found that the expansion did not offer enough new material to hold my interest for very long. Besides, there is plenty of fun to be had without the expansion, due to the wider range of factions and units.

Fans of the series will not be disappointed, which seems to be a rarity these days. Newcomers should be prepared for a challenge, but the game does a good job of breaking people in and letting them enjoy the game from start to finish.
Customer Review: Civilization meets real time tactical combat
The AI isn't entirely challenging, but that is really true of all games. Until programmers can come up with truely great AI I will just have to keep giving games 4/5 and 9/10. This game is more a 9/10 than a 4/5 btw.

If anyone knows about an old game called Archon, this game is to Civilization what Archon was to Chess, it takes the basic Civilization game (capturing cities, expanding empire, building armies and upgrading cities) and adds a real-time combat element.
